03-28-08 Website Outage
Due to a relocation of our webhosting services to a new data center, all Dirty Fabworks websites (dirtyfab.com,
dirtyfabworks.com and dirtyfabworks.org) will reportedly be out of service for up to 48 hours beginning
around 11:00pm (CDT) this evening. Everything should be back in order not later than midnight Sunday, 03/30.
To pass the time, we'll be at the shop working on Grinder's new tube fenders!
Don't bother looking here for updates... when it's ready, you'll be able to find us again!
03-15-08 Spring Thaw?!
If you're anything like us here in the midwest, then you've no doubt been experiencing Cabin Fever
at its peak over the last couple of weeks. We're in the midst of a repeated freeze-thaw cycle that has
even resulted in cancellation of Hannibal Rocks' Spring Top Shop Challenge! (can they do that?!)
Thankfully, the change to daylight savings time signals improving conditions just over the horizon.
We've just finished up another set of TJ tube fenders, check out DirtyDeeds
for pics (to be posted soon). Next up on our (official) calendar is the annual SIJA
Jeep Jam!, this year to be held at Ron Maximoff's FlatNasty offroad
park. This new location should provide for a full weekend of outdoor activites, with some of the area's best float
streams and even trout fishing nearby. The Cap'n has just completed an install of a pair of Rubi axles (reportedly loaded
with aftermarket goodies) and a PS cage (y'all need to harrass him about that!), and Grinder's getting ready for
a set of tube fenders and possibly an axle swap - should be a busy month!
FYI - both Grinder and I have both either been traveling or working some stupid-long
hours at our dreaded day-jobs. If you're awaiting a reply to an e-mail inquiry, please bear with us,
I promise we'll get back to you soon!
12-31-07 Happy New Year!
Wow! Another year has gone by? Where does the time go?!
The XJ rebuild is still (perpetually?) on hold and Grinder's CJ is still awaiting quite a few of
the updates that were supposed to have been done back in April, but we're still here
which means there's quite a bit more Dirty Underware out there!
A sincere Thank You! goes out to all who have chosen Dirty Fabworks to help protect their
rigs. Fact is, DF wouldn't exist if it weren't for you - Thanks again for choosing us!
While I've got your attention - be sure to check out the latest updates to the

09-11-07 Never Forget.
It's hard to believe that it's now been 6 years since the horrific attacks on the World
Trade Center and the Pentagon took place. While many of our "leaders" seem to have lost sight
of the significance of the events of that tragic day, the threat remains. There are those
still bent on inducing as much pain and suffering as possible in an effort to force
their belief system upon the rest of the world.
September 11 must forever remain a day of rememberance of those who needlessly lost their
lives, as well as the sacrifice of those who have worked so hard to rebuild what was lost
and to ensure that it may never be repeated.
Please take time to fly the American flag on this day!
